Yama update

For the last few months I’ve been working on the 2nd map from the campaign, the temple complex. The whole area is based on Kiyomizu, a 1,200 year old temple in Kyoto where the survivors arrive after driving through the night having escaping Tokyo. Lately I’ve been detailing the streets leading to the temple, and because they’re all narrow, twisty alleys and streets, I can cram in a lot of detail without affecting the performance too much.

Imperial Boy scene

I’ve been working on a non-playable scene for my portfolio based on some artwork by Imperial Boy for a few weeks. It’s to get some practice at mapping in 3dsmax but will eventually be imported into UDK.
